Service
Service is one of the most important components of the Innocents Society. Throughout the year, every class volunteers across not only the city of Lincoln, but also the greater Nebraska area in an attempt to give back to the people of our state.

Innocents Volunteering Across the Nebraska (iVAN) is the Innocent Society's annual service project. The project began in 2008 with the 104th class of Innocents and today spans three days during which the society volunteers in 13 towns across the state of Nebraska. This is a way of exemplifying the university's mission statement and commitment to service as part of its "recognized obligation to extend resources of the university beyond the campus and throughout the state."
